Split-screen Android Auto

It took a long time to get Android Auto full screen, now the view has changed to split-screen and I love it! Works great too. Since I'm enrolled in their beta program on the Play Store, you might not get it now, but it's coming soon.

I wish it would square the corners to blend in with SYNC's look and feel a bit more, but otherwise that looks like a fantastic improvement!

Have you found many use cases yet?
Weather seems duplicative, and I already have pause/back/skip buttons in current state.

Is the music progress bar seekable? I could see that useful for some songs/podcasts

I wish the huge grey bar with the phone name could be reduced - such a waste of space

Yes, but it seems like a placeholder for notifications. Messenger messages show up in place of weather and you can read the first part of the message, reply from there, etc. When weather is showed, you click on the weather to start "Ok Google" but it's already on the steering wheel.
