Standard Suspension Vs. ManaRide

I was in the process of buying a Mach E select but after taking it on a longer test drive I thought the car drove too bumpy and I could feel every bump in the road. Is the GT with the Magna Ride going to give me the same drive as a GM vehicle with Magnetic Ride Control? Is the MagnaRide a game changer when it comes to a smooth riding car?

Definitely similar to the GM magneride.

My Chevy SS had it and my GTPE does as well.

The difference? There were 4 settings on the SS vs 3 on the GTPE, and the difference between the settings was also greater and could be changed independently of drive modes.

The SS softest setting was softer than whisper and the harshest setting was stiffer than unbridled.

But both are great.

Basically on a scale of 1-10 (1 super soft, 10 super firm)
SS settings- 4,5,6,8
GTPE- 5,6,7

Thanks. So there were settings in the basic Mache Select that would change the ride? Whisper, Active and Untamed? Could that have been the issue?

Nope.

Only the GTPE suspension changes.
