The left arrow in the music control buttons fell off. I see it. But no, I don’t have that problem.

If you use lotions etc on your hands and then touch the wheel this seems to be a common problem. You can try for a warranty fix. But it will keep happening if you continue to use lotions.

Huh, you'd think they'd use the double-shot method for the keys like so many keyboard manufacturers use instead of paint. Disappointing. ??

I refuse to understand it. It would cost them a few cents more per button.....

Probably not even that much at Ford's volumes. There are some REALLY cheap computer keyboards with key backlighting out there that use double-shot keys. Probably only fractions of a cent per key. ?‍♂?

Is there any kind of preventative solution? Costing the buttons with paint or plastic or something?

I have this with just the "ok" on the right side. The little black bit in the middle of the "O" is long gone. It's not too big a deal for me since it still looks fine without it. I've been thinking about a creative solution to prevent the rest, just haven't put too much thought into it yet. ?

Haven’t had this issue. Do you have long fingernails?

Reminds me of my old G35 sedan. The door handle and steering wheel would scratch extremely easy. Like barely hit with your ring or fingernails and it could come off. After a while it looked like this:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Steering Wheel Buttons Wear F292FAB8-6743-462D-8F00-9807933D92B3

They ended up changing the material in figure years.

I would try to warranty it.

Ford seems to use plastics that are pleasing to look at and to the touch but not durable. GM uses ugly plastics but they’re extremely durable.
