No need for that short of time. What about removing the contactor from LVB?
That's a neat idea. Will any kill switch work? Because this model is discontinuedI have installed a 12V battery remote disconnect on both my MME and my Lightning now. Not for the purposes of storage, although I guess I could use it for that, but more for the ability to do a "reboot" on the vehicle modules in the event it gets stuck or starts doing stupid stuff after an OTA has landed.
The Lightning LVB is very easy to get to if it's dead and you need to do something to fix it. The MME, not so much. You can't open any doors to pull the manual handle, and you'd need a jumpbox to pop the frunk. That's why it was way more important to install that remote disconnect on the MME so that I didn't have to go into all the effort of removing beauty panels just to get to the negative terminal to do a quick reboot, or whatever else that involved disconnecting the LVB.
It depends on the state of the battery. My LVB goes down to 45% after 2 days of standing still during the weekend wind ODB dongle on. It would probably last longer if I take it out but I don't think it would survive for two weeksNo need for that short of time.

It should only lose about 5% per day or less while sitting, if you are leaving the dongle on that's why it's draining so fast.It depends on the state of the battery. Yeah, the battery is getting there. It was never going below 70% before. But I'll still use it until it starts going to 45% or so without a dongleI think it might be time to get a new battery before you get locked out.
I don’t leave my dongle connect because I don’t know how much it draws.
What are the rules for recharging itself? Does it recharge itself when it reaches a certain point? Does it recharge itself even if it is not on charger? It should only lose about 5% per day or less while sitting, if you are leaving the dongle on that's why it's draining so fast.
Two weeks should be perfectly fine, it should recharge itself automatically if it gets low enough.
Also what is your expert opinion on kill switch with remote? Is it ok to use it? Anything one need to know when choosing it? Thank youIt should only lose about 5% per day or less while sitting, if you are leaving the dongle on that's why it's draining so fast.

A lot of them are the same hardware sold under different brands. That's a neat idea. Will any kill switch work? Because this model is discontinued
