In pics the GT wheels looked like the shitty teddy bear wheels for the Neon, possibly a flower/cheese grater adjacent.

In person -WAY better looking...don't catch any of the 'don't know about that' vibes. And good lord are they easy to clean.
You do need an angled wheel brush if you want to clean inside the dish, it's also painted black and pretty apparent when you take a peek inside (or, more like when they're clean it looks substantially better). But still, no way as much Q-Tip action the GTPE's need. Even though brake dust is non existent, road grime still mucks 'em up.

While I like the look of my GT-PE’s wheels, if I were going on a road trip, I might prefer the GT wheel with aero covers. The biggest part of the difference in range is those wheels. ??

I too have a grabber blue GT. While for me it's the paint that I love the most, I do really like the wheels. However, I am a female, and a flowery female at that, so the wheels feel just right for me. Still, it's the paint that gets me every time.

My project for the spring is to dip the chrome part of the atock wheels

my project for the spring is to plastidip the chrome part of the wheels a matte black. I think it will take away from the flower look of the wheels and match the rest of the car where there is little to no chrome. Lately I’m also thinking of plastidip ping the GT badge a nice black. Create my own black package ?
Post pictures!

I am putting my vote in as someone who really likes the GT wheels. When I first saw them, I hated them. Now I prefer them over the GTPE wheels. And like Steve said, better aero so better range in the highway.

I'm going to have to re-evaluate my friendship with you and Steve!

So last night I was in a parking lot and I see a guy checking out my car. Not unusual as many have noted in many threads here, the MME gets looks. As I approach to get in he says “I love the wheels on your car.” I was taken aback and said “thank you?” thinking he was being sarcastic. I have the GT and I HATE the flower power wheels. I’m also so used to people on here complaining about them that I assumed he was being sarcastic but I think he genuinely liked them.
I've always liked the GT wheels...similar to Lamborghini wheels in the '70s.
