Strange Door Open/Lock Logic - can someone please explain?

I don't understand this door open/lock logic...does anyone have the same problem as me?

Car is locked to start with.
1. I press the rear door open button to load my son onto his car seat (as expected, side mirrors unfold as a result).
2. I close the rear door.
3. I press the driver's door open button (not the lock icon) on the door frame, wanting to open my door. However, the side mirrors fold and the doors lock instead. I have to press the driver's door open button again to unlock & open my door.

Not a big deal, but strange logic. I have my key fob (not PaaK) in my pocket the whole time.

For my car.....once I open any of the 4 passenger doors then the remaining 3 will unlock and open if that button is pressed.

There are settings in the SYNC for how the locks work. I don't remember all the options......have you browsed through those settings yet?

It's the setting for what you what unlock to do. Either specific doors, or all doors.

Sounds like OP needs to enable to all doors function.

Yeah. A lot is in there. I still find stuff that I didn't know about and I have had mine for a while. Some stuff might not make sense......if there is a little "I" next to it then you can press that and get a better description. I go back and browse through things from time to time.
