Yesterday I watched my efficiency number vacillate between 3.5 and 3.7 mi/kWh and I was pondering why it didn't go through 3.6. I went back and looked at 63 readings that I recorded and noticed that only certain values were shown. I figured it was because these are converted from the metric values of kWh/100km and then rounded. I don't know why the original kWh/100km values are only integer values. Here is a table of what I think the conversion looks like. (I didn't go infinitely in both directions, but you get the idea.) I know it really doesn't matter, but I wish I had some more decimal points.
| kWh/100km | mi/kWh |
| 7.8 |
| 6.9 |
| 6.2 |
| 5.6 |
| 5.2 |
| 4.8 |
| 4.4 |
| 4.1 |
| 3.9 |
| 3.7 |
| 3.5 |
| 3.3 |
| 3.1 |
| 3 |
| 2.8 |
| 2.7 |
