Interesting. None of the other usual places to check (https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/status, myvehicles on ford.com, https://www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker/) reflect anything other than start of production (2021-08-19) - nothing about shipping or even completing the build.

Yeah, Ford's tracker won't show that date until the vehicle ships. It is used in the greeting at the top of the page: "Your <Mach-E year and type> is estimated to be delivered to <Dealership Name> between <etaStartDate> & <etaEndDate>."

Keep in mind, the delivery window is assigned when production starts and is based on some assumptions about how soon the vehicle will be completed and how soon transport will be available. In some cases it proves to be a good estimate, but in some cases not so much. Once you have a release date, you'll have a better idea of when you might take delivery. Sometimes Ford will even update the ETA dates (either forward or backward) at that time as well.

Scheduled to production, week of 10/4/2021. Wanted to change to premium, but was told too late.
Found VIN on 8/29.

Just found this forum but our stats for our ordered unit are:

• Star White Premium AWD Ext. Range
• Ordered 03/17/21
• Production Date 08/13/21
• ETA End Date Originally 08/30/21
• NEW ETA End Date 10/31/21

Definitely being impacted by chip shortage. Can't wait for the car...

My order status now reflects "Production in Progress" with a build date scheduled for "week of 10/25/2021". A little later than I expected and I just hope it stands firm.

Placed my initial order on 5/7/2021 for the RWD Premium ER in Black. At this rate just hoping to get delivery before year's end. No VIN # yet, but curious if I will receive a 2022 model since production won't be until October.

You absolutely CAN get your VIN at this point—but you need to be somewhat tech-savvy, as you'll need to access and scan HTML source code in order to retrieve it. There are instructions on this forum—just search for 'retrieving VIN' Good luck!

well something weird has happened to my order. I ordered a route 1 on 7/29/2021. Checking on daily basis, today it said
SORRY TO HIT THE BRAKES
We apologize for the inconvenience, but isn't accepting Mustang Mach-E orders at this time. Though no need to worry - your Order number of XXXXXXXXX for your Mustang Mach-E CALIFORNIA ROUTE 1 is still good. This just means you should select a new dealer to continue your order to get back in the fast lane.



When I click on the button it shows a dealer close to San Jose (Watsonville, CA) in CA. I am north of Phoenix AZ? That's 526 miles away.

Could take a while to complete the build. My production date is 2021-07-13, but still hasn't reached the next step. Word from Ford is that the "missing chip" for my MME will become available sometime in the next week, then the Release Date will be filled-in, followed by shipping. Oddly, the status on mine is "In Transit" even though it hasn't been released yet.
