They must be working backwards through the backlog, I still haven't had a glimmer of an update despite my 2-month lead on ordering my car. Carvana picks up my CX-9 on Tuesday. Tempted to just give Ford the middle finger and buy this Audi SQ5 Prestige I've had my eye on, but I know it'd just make the dealership more money, Ford wouldn't even notice/care, and I'd just be kicking myself for not waiting since I'm already 6 months deep into this clusterf.

I guess there may be some hope, since your In Production date was only 2 days after mine, maybe they've only got a handful of cars to get through before they stick in whatever widget was missing in mine and put it on a train.

You're in for a bit of a wait. You've picked the most popular car being ordered, not including the GTs. Premium/AWD/Extended Range has been the most popular model. I was told by my salesperson that if I did away with the extended range I would get my car a lot sooner. Told her I would wait. I ordered mine at the end of Feb 2021.

SO if you log in to https://www.ford.com/buy/my-vehicles.html does anything show up? Because I just ordered two weeks ago and my order shows up when I log in there under My Vehicles

For anyone that ordered in late April with ER+AWD premium, did anyone get a scheduled production date today? Or only GT orders? I have an order through the dealer so my visibility isn't as good as ones initiated through the website.

No early reservation, only submitted an order on 4-5-21. My timing from order to built seems consistent with others on this forum that submitted orders in March and early April. It's all about your Dealer having enough allotment for the quarter.
