The idea being that we aren't sure the plant would build right hand drive and left hand drive vehicles at the same time so thus the need to switch from NA to EU/UK production runs. However, if there are two production lines....then they could build NA vehicles on one line and EU/UK vehicles on the other.

You know that most of Europe uses left hand drive as in the US, right?

An update - Believe it or not I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER! I placed the order the day Helm put it on the web (11-4). My mistake was I chose free shiping; what a disaster! My order was “in preparation” at Helm for 4 days. Then Fedex picked it up using their “Smart Post” rate. It sat at their hub for days too and was supposed to be delivered today. Last night I got word it was delayed until Friday. I don’t feel that bad because from what has been said on this forum it’s not very useful. I’ve even forgotten what you wanted to know. Perhaps you can go on the thread about Users Manuals and ask there. Sorry if this has already been answered.

Ford is still sayin they will deliver Mach Es end of 2020 but people are getting 3 months delivery timeline from built date. That means that Early build Mach E in November will not be getting theirs til February. Mine is scheduled to be built 1st week of December and my dealer said I might get it by Christmas week.

Unless dealers have no clue when they will get Mach e's

I'm really interested to see what happens once more US folks with end of Nov build dates hit, plus OKTB (Nov 23rd, unless that changes).

I've seen mention that Ford reps have indicated shipping will happen by rail to a more central hub in the US and then spread from there. I really just don't know how that could happen and have many deliveries at all before 2021.

I doubt that is correct. Why would they just sit for 2 months +? I think they are slow, but not that bad.
