Yeah, I tilted the mirror all the way down and I went in from the top lifting just the two top clips. I was able to unlatch the top and then push down the bottom just a little bit before trying to pull the whole mirror out. I tilted the mirror back level so that I was able to get enough leverage to push down on the mirror to pull the bottom clips out. Crazy enough I didn’t break any clips this time around but apparently when in the left mirror was installed at the factory they did.
Those clips only need to move about a 16 to an 8th of an inch to unlatch. I went in in an x formation with lobster forks.

Installed, not too bad. Driver mirror feels way more wiggly than passenger but assuming it’s fine if it’s taking me pushing it to wiggle? Don’t really like the Suma logo, didn’t know it had that.

The wiggle I have isn't seen in vibration in the mirrors while driving. I'm quite pleased and now my daughter will stop thinking I'm constantly checking on her on the freeway as I can glance at the right mirror for lane changes instead of over my shoulder.

My mirrors finally arrived yesterday and I installed them in the twilight. The only mishap was that one of the clips on the right side SUMA mirror broke during installation. The Suma clips are definitely not as durable as the Ford clips. (When I was doing repeated testing for SUMA I removed and reinstalled my driver side mirror at least a half dozen times and the clips are still intact.)

I took the mirrors for a spin and BLIS is working fine. I did notice that the mirrors appear to be slightly less bright than the OEM mirrors. (I got the non-blue tinted glass.) But the field of view is excellent.

I have the same thoughts on the "less bright" though at night it is certainly an adjustment with brighter headlights compared to OEM (or possibly in my head). I must say the field of view is amazing but whenever I glance to my driver's side mirror my eyes have to do a weird adjustment. Hopefully it is just something I'll get used to.

I'm reporting the same thing. Visibility definitely is excellent. I also got the non-blue tinted glass but they still have a slight blue tint to them. They are definitely less bright. My biggest gripe about the mirror is staring at the SUMA logo every day.

I don’t love seeing the logo either. My wife said, “You could put the original mirror back, right?” 🤣

The white (non-blue) mirror has a coating, not made of chrome as the regular mirror, such that it's designed to reduce glare not as bright as you have noticed!

Thanks again for your patience as we dealt with the BSM issue.

I got a new mirror motor to replace the one I broke. Everything is good now. Agree on it being way less bright, but I think that’s ok. I wish it didn’t have the suma logo though, mainly so my wife wouldn’t realize I did another project.
