Well, I got my cap off and I can’t figure out how to get the actual lens out yet. Doesn’t look like I’m gonna be the lucky one that this works with.

You don’t need to remove the cap to remove the mirrors. You unclip the mirrors using trim tool There’s a video on the Suma site that shows removal of the OEM mirror. (It’s on a Tesla I think, but the idea is the same.)

That said, until Suma tells us what the fuck is actually going on with BLIS and these mirrors, I wouldn’t bother.

(Of course I don’t even have my mirrors yet, so regardless I’m SOL…….or not??‍.)

I'm one handed right now due to thumb surgery, so writing a long email isn't really an option for me. Honestly I'm tempted to file a complaint with the BBB. (I've found such complaints get results.)

May I ask that those of you who've sent emails, can you please report back what you hear from them, assuming you hear anything at all?

I'd also like to highlight this post. In it I suggest to AOSK that they make a set of mirrors. I have no doubt they'd get the job done right, or if they can't then at least they'd make it right for their customers...

A little while later I got an email from Suma asking me if I was still interested in the mirrors I'd looked at. OK, I know this is an automated response, but it still annoyed me given Suma's radio silence.

We're all getting hosed but you're getting freakin' drenched! You assisted them and then they don't even ship you mirrors, although maybe that's a plus since they're defective, but come on!

The icing on the cake is I selected the stupid "route" shipping thing so my shipment is "protected" if it gets lost or whatever (since I'm paranoid not selecting it will screw me over). Well, they didn't even process my shipping right. They definitely charged me for "route" but then never told "route" the item shipped! When I check my status with the link, "route" still doesn't even have the tracking number!

I find their behavior unconscionable. I conceived, designed, made multiple fit samples, marketed, sold, fabricated, and delivered my cargo ring brackets from scratch in less time than it's take Suma to not deliver working product. SMH.
