How dare all these peasants use the chargers when I need them!!! I'm too important to wait!

I always yell, "don't you know who I am?" Which usually works, but if not I go with "My father is a very powerful man" or "Let me speak to your manager"... that really moves them along..

What is DCFC for other than for people that put a lot of miles on during a day (i.e. Lyft/Uber) or people on a long trip. If you are just a commuter with a reasonable commute, you will never use DCFC. Just charge at night at home. I can't really think of a use
There are 120 million households in the US. 30% of them are multi-family dwellings of which 75% own at least one vehicle. So that is around 27 million vehicles minimum. I'm speculating that most do not currently have Level 2 charging at their household. Where are they supposed to charge (especially if they do not wish to leave their vehicle unattended due to vandalism) if not DCFC? The current answer has to be that they should not purchase an BEV until the infrastructure catches up. Cat and mouse game for some. Landlord does not want to spend money for electrical upgrade until tenants have a BEV. Tenants should not purchase a BEV until upgrade is complete.

True. Like actually soon or BlueCruise soon? Because if it’s BlueCruise soon then by February they must have meant by June lol

So, I am hoping to use a Tesla charger on a mini-vacation at the end of March. Am I deluded in thinking it might be an option? (Next closest charger to my hotel is about 30 minutes away.) Anyone taking bets on a March 23rd implementation?
Implementation yes. Adapter maybe.

The scene at my whole foods every Sunday morning: me and the folts (fucking bolts).
Perfectly normal, they spent much less than you and can now afford to shop at Whole Foods.

They don’t shop at whole foods. They bring fast food and litter the stations. Whole Foods validates your parking for 90 min even if you’re only charging. It’s terrible here.

I have a mini vacation that starts exactly on March 23 as well. If I can get an adapter and BC 1.4 by then, I’ll be a very very happy person.

If you get 3mi/Kwh and pay 50 cents per kwh at a supercharger, that's $5 for 30 miles. You can buy an SUV that gets 30mi per gallon and the average price of gas is $3.30. Supercharging is $5.00/$3.30 or 50% more expensive than gas. What's the point of buying an EV if you can't charge at home? Environment issues? If I mostly charged at DCFC, I'd never buy a BEV.

Those chargers are 100kw limited, perfect for Bolts. They get 50-55kw max. Your Fach E is only slightly better 70-75kw peak on those.

50% better is not slightly ?. Also, when they approach 100%, as they routinely do they charge at 7 kW. But I get your point, it’s better than being at a 350 kW charger.
