Did you perform the setup in your app to change the light from white to green? Just asking because the default mode will charge but much slower then you are expecting so setting it up in the app is preferred.
Stupid green light has been taunting me for months. Soon CPHF, soon. ??

if you are stupid, you pay $1200, otherwise you head to chargepoint official website and buy it for $699

It's Amazon, home of the $79 4 pack of toilet paper at one point.

I wouldn't read anything into it, just a 3rd party marking it up, way up.

I'm really happy with my ChargePoint so far. Nothing really fancy about them, but I think the install looks clean. I wish I had a better cord management solution, but I picked a location that would work for all three bays of my garage. If the Ford option had been available, I would have picked it.

I hope you like yours, too.
The best feature is the reporting and reliability with CP. 2 years of zero issues so far and every kWh tracked and metered. It syncs with your utility rate to give you very accurate tracking. If you ever change your wireless router at home, do not forget to reconnect it. Finally, tech support is awesome and 24x7.

It's not supply & demand. There are third party sellers on Amazon that do what I call "Trolling for suckers". ?

This is why I always try to buy from the actual manufacturer instead of Amazon, whenever I can. Why should I be paying some stupid markup, just to finance Jeff bozosā€™s superyacht, rocket, personal jet, personal island, or whatever? All while he mistreats his employees?

I have a MME arriving in Dec if all goes well. I found an electrician to install the 240 volts 14-50 outlet. I'm not sure what charger I am going to go with but have it narrowed down to ChargePoint and Wallbox. Both are smart chargers with an amp and over 40 amps on a 50 amp breaker. I considered the JuiceBox but could not get over the large amount of recent horrible reviews.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the ChargePoint or Wallbox?

Iā€™m curious, why so many folks are not just using the 14-50 plug and evse that Ford supplied with the car? 30A is plenty for me even on heavy use days.
That said, I was about you buy these guys EVSE before I found out the MME came with one. 40 amps at $319 is a great price. The car itself has scheduling so a ā€œsmart EVSEā€ seems redundant.
this one also looks a lot like the supplied Ford unit.

Hereā€™s my set up.
