Charging at home on demand

Ever since they updated the mobile app, I cannot find a way to start a home charge on demand. Normally I schedule it between 11pm-7am to take advantage of better rates, but occasionally I need to do a quick charge outside those hours. In the past, I could go onto the mobile app and tell it to charge now. That seems to have disappeared, and the only place I can figure out how to workaround it is to change the home charge time in the car. Afterwards, I have to change it back to 11-7. Am I just missing something obvious? That seems way too hard for such a task. Thank you.

If the car is plugged in, then in FordPass you should see a 'Start' button on the top of the Energy tab.

Anytime I've looked, there's usually a START button next to the car's status at the top of the screen in the app (assuming the car is plugged in). If it's not right on the home screen, it would be on the Energy screen. And next to it usually has a "waiting to charge" message.

Where is your schedule set? With the car or the charger? If it's with the car, that's what I would expect to see. If your schedule is set with the charger, it could be that the car may not "know" it's plugged in until that window opens up and therefore wouldn't let you start charging early.

I think I have resolved my problem. I am in Georgia and have a Georgia Power management program that provides another layer of control that I needed to override. Once I did that, I got the expected result. Thanks to those of you that responded.
