Hey all,
I was checking the connectivity to my home network to make sure I get the upcoming Bluecruise update. In the vehicle it says that my wifi connection is up and running, however in my Eero network utility, I see absolutely no sign of an IP or MAC address tied to the vehicle. There is a ā€œRecently Onlineā€ section that shows a device named Sync with a current status of ā€œNot Connectedā€

Does anyone have any feedback on what may be causing this and how to get the Sync connection solved? Thanks much!

The connection is not active all the time. That "recently online" connection is it. Of course the WiFi update is not required, it will update fine over cellular.

Got it…thanks! The letter I received from Ford re: the BluCruise update did instruct to make sure that wifi is connected, however. And it also said to set up a schedule for updates, which I did. We'll see what happens.

You got an actual letter in the snail mail? First I’ve heard of those being received.

Ya. It basically said I have 2 options for the BlueCruise update. The dealer can do it at no cost, or it can be done OTA, provided I am connected to wifi and I have an update schedule set.
