SYNC Editing Failure

I was sitting in my Mach-E, in the garage, going through all of the menus. I found one with a Fuel label. I tapped it and got a picture of a gasoline pump and the locations of the gas stations within a few miles of my house. An example of "cut and paste" without paying any attention to what is being cut and pasted. Apparently no one proof read the section either.

Sync4 is in the ICE F-150, and it is possible you might want to find a gas station for your ICE

I don't own an ICE. I have exactly one appliance that uses gasoline, a snow blower. I expect it to be gone before it snows again.

In a lot of places, a gas station is your best bet for having a restroom available, or being able to grab a drink or food.

That is just part of the navigation. The map data includes it. Why would they take the time to pay for the map data, and then try and edit it out just for certain vehicles?

Maybe I want to find gas stations around me to get some food or drinks when I'm somewhere new?

Exactly. Plus, sync4 is in the ICE F-150. So they'd have to go out of their way to remove that info in the MME and lightning but not the F-150. That would make no sense.

Besides, I think this is the very definition of a spurious complaint. If you don't want to go to a gas station, then don't select it.
