T-Mobile Hotspot available?

I was under the impression that I could add the MME as a "device" to my T-Mobile plan, sort of like I'd add an iPad. Is the car only able to register with AT&T?

Correct. The car's hotspot service is only available through AT&T.

Yes, The car is already activated with ATT, this is how it communicates back to Ford. When you activate the Hotspot, all they do is enable the hotspot feature. Kind of like with cell phones hot spot feature. If your plan doesn't include it, your phone won't let you turn it on and just tells you to contact your carrier to enable.
