Maybe I'm confused, but what does this mean? I was thinking deliveries and sales were the same thing for them. I understand for legacy auto with dealers it is different. Just curious

It is the same. A delivery is to a customer. So it's a sale. Tesla owns the car up to the point it is delivered to a customer

Deliveries and sales are different for TESLA as well. Deliveries include previous quarter orders. As per california deler report, TESLA q2 sales in california, TESLA's major market, were down 37%.

Deliveries and sales are different for TESLA as well. Last year, they made 55k sales and 97k deliveries in Q2.

Post a link, have not heard of that. Curious what that 55k number is.
