Ahhhh, I see.... you subscribe to the theory that "two wrongs equal a right"...
Ahhhh, I see.... you're just here for the virtue signalling. My mistake for responding at all.

I had to plug in perpendicular and I blocked the leftmost stall and was close but not into the next spot and a Tesla blocked the next two chargers to avoid my car and man this other Tesla (X) driver started full on screaming at the other like he should have known better, he did not yell at me because I think as an interloper I was excused.

Lol... sure.. go with that. I stand by my original comment. So many better and NICER ways to handle such a situation...

I’ve DC charged a lot without talking to anyone at chargers.

Most people seem to be playing on their phone or at a restaurant eating.

Have seen vehicles icing at Sheetz, but not too worried about someone asking me why my EV is charging at an EV charger.

We have done several charges at Tesla stations, only time someone ever talked to us they were telling me how happy they were to see a non-Tesla charge work because they meant they could finally sell their Tesla and get something else ?

…also they were gushing over how beautiful the MachE was..

Ok, so I successfully tested my NACS adapter at a Tesla supercharging station. However, at the front of each charging stall is a sign that says "Tesla Vehicles Only". So, I'm wondering what happens if while I'm charging there a person from a Tesla approaches me and points to the sign and tells me to leave. Do I just blow him off? Do I tell him things have changed?

How would you react to this? Because we all know it's going to happen.
The sign is a holdover from when the sites were limited to Tesla vehicles charging there. We just had a new site open. Near us and the current signs say “EV charging only.”

Troglodytes are everywhere, but fortunately not particularly common. Sometimes out “nicing” them can set them off even more. Sometimes being nice deescalates a situation. Sometimes telling them to call the police stops things dead in the tracks. I’m not going to second guess someone on a forum about how to handle a hypothetical situation. Nor will I Monday morning quarterback a real life experience that didn’t involve me.

Some Tesla folks are oblivious to the changes that have come to the Supercharger system and are ignorant to how profound those changes are going to be. Most of those folks can be educated. The few remaining ignorant are the issue. Sometimes change is hard.

To date, the only issue I had was leaving a station after charger

There were 6 other stalls available, and I had taken the right-most, parking in the non-EV stall adjacent. A Model Y insisted on pulling into the stall I was still securing. No gestures or anything said, just unnecessarily close.

As I understand, Tesla does have some chargers reserved only for Teslas. Those chargers will not electrically connect to our MMEs. The signs displayed seem to be out of date. This is going to create confusion for a while.

I had a brand-T fanboi unplug my Mustang at one. I don't leave the vehicle (unless it's to walk around nearby, quickly grab a to-go meal, or to quickly use the restroom) when I'm charging on their chargers.
Would you look at that, evidence that Ford needs to update their software so a DCFC session can't be stopped unless the car is unlocked or key is nearby.

People need to upgrade their behaviors so they're not touching others' vehicles.

That too, but it's a pretty simple software feature that would prevent people from being able to act on this type of behavior. The adapter doesn't even let you unplug the cable during an active session. All Ford needs to do is disable the button if the driver isn't nearby.

I don't want a charger plug locked to my vehicle. I would prefer to lose a $200 adapter than have a $60,000 car damaged by either an entitled jerk or some kind of electrical problem between the charger and the car.

I don't understand this. The adapter or CCS handle is physically locked into the port during an active session. The button next to the charge port is nothing but software. If the electronic release for the charger locking pin fails there's still a manual release under the hood behind all that obnoxious trim.
