As I understand, Tesla does have some chargers reserved only for Teslas. Those chargers will not electrically connect to our MMEs. The signs displayed seem to be out of date. This is going to create confusion for a while.
Tesla has LOCATIONS that we cannot use, entire locations. They don't show up as available to us on the apps. They do not have a location, to my knowledge, where some chargers are reserved for Teslas only, but others are open to other vehicles.

Ok, so I successfully tested my NACS adapter at a Tesla supercharging station. However, at the front of each charging stall is a sign that says "Tesla Vehicles Only". So, I'm wondering what happens if while I'm charging there a person from a Tesla approaches me and points to the sign and tells me to leave. Do I just blow him off? Do I tell him things have changed?

How would you react to this? Because we all know it's going to happen.
Depending on your testosterone level I would tell him to either mind his own business or try and explain to him the rules have changed and that the new signs have not been put up. You can also refer him to the Tesla website.

To date, the only issue I had was leaving a station after charger

There were 6 other stalls available, and I had taken the right-most, parking in the non-EV stall adjacent. A Model Y insisted on pulling into the stall I was still securing. No gestures or anything said, just unnecessarily close.
Change is hard sometimes. People can get annoyed at change and a few take it out on others. Basically the current version of Homo sapiens suck. ;)

Supercharging Other EVs
Many Supercharging stalls will be accessible to other electric vehicle drivers in North America through the Tesla app and adapters provided by your vehicle manufacturer. As soon as Q4 2024, new vehicles outside of Tesla will also start coming equipped with NACS charge ports. Vehicles that are NACS-equipped do not require an adapter.
It’s always been our ambition to open the Supercharger network to all EVs, and by doing so, encourage more drivers to rapidly transition to an emission-free future.

Most are aware that Tesla opened up the chargers to other brands. You may run into some uniformed owners.

I’m currently on a road trip & was charging my 2021 GTPE at a supercharger yesterday. I got to 80% & stopped the charging session in the Tesla App. I pressed the button to the right of the charge port to release my NACS adapter from the car. The lights around the button were white & blinked but the charge port didn’t release. I thought it was the latch on top of the NACS adapter & wrestled with it. No way I could get it to release! I hit the charge port button many times with no change. I was really worried that I was going to be stuck there. I called the BEV team & just as I started talking with a rep, my wife suggested that I unlock the car with the fob. I used FordPass to unlock even though the driver door was wide open. I then pressed the button on the charge port & it suddenly released! We were sitting in the car with it on while charging. I was in & out of the car multiple times, & started & turned off the car multiple times. I needed to unlock the already unlocked doors? Really? I guess they implemented security for the charge port which is great, but watch out for the catch (pun intended).

What ?

Ford changed the locking port recently ?

Ever since charging at Tesla for the past 6 months, the adapter was easy to disconnect by merely pressing the unlock button even with the car locked.

If this is true, I would be more at ease leaving the car charging at a Supercharger unattended...

I can’t guarantee that it was an update. I can only tell you what my experience was. I hope it was an update! If it was an update, it sure would’ve been nice for them to send a message in FordPass notifying us that this change had occurred. I’m half expecting it to turn out to be a glitch of some sort since I haven’t read or heard anything about this happening to anyone else…

I can verify that my GTPE will not release or interrupt a charge session at a Supercharger unless the doors are unlocked. In order to test this I put my Apple Watch and phone in airplane mode with the car, locked up and tried to interrupt the session by pressing the button on the charge port. The lights momentarily went white and went round and round, but went back to blue and continued charging the car. The NACS adapter did not get released until I unlock the doors and pressed the button again. I took a video of the whole process, but I can only upload images not videos from my iPhone. Video to follow later.

Same.

I recently made a long trip and walked away to eat. The button by the port alone wouldn't release the cable. I had to unlock the car.

It's good news actually.
Thank you Ford for addressing the security concern regarding. Unless of course it was always that way and the insults were just a lack of knowledge?

If it was an update, Ford certainly missed the opportunity to receive credit, with their apathetic attitude towards update notes.

Tell them to ask Elon why he approved access for non-Tesla EVs. If you have a Ford provided adapter, point to it and tell them those were sold by Tesla to Ford.
