The manifest issue has come up one time before that I can remember. Either on here or reddit, I believe they manually had to flash the modules in forscan using the software # for each module on an already updated vehicle that’s the same build as yours by comparing modules and software versions.
I’m sure you could pull the as built data and find the original software #, but even knowing the prefix of the number it would be hard to pick the correct versions without the right manifest to go by.
I think to get it fixed in FDRS permanently the dealer ended up having to call ford engineering to open a ticket to have the correct manifest assigned to the vin in the system.

That makes sense.
The FDRS session log files seem to indicate that the manifest and the expected update file sizes aren't a match. So for those updates, the procedure aborts as soon as the differential is recognized.

I am fortunate to have someone generous and knowledgeable enough that he can harvest the update files for me, if I'm hellbent to not wait for either the OTA equivalent, or for the situation to get cleared some other way.
The GWM is the one will focus on first. It can be a real key module in so many ways.

Had an IPC update show up on FDRS today so thought I’d do it quick as I’m going away tomorrow . Hooked the car up and a APIM popped up as well. Now on sync 23297 revision 1058.
APIM done and currently running the IPC.

So after my weekend of updating modules (I ended doing HVAC, APIM, BCM, RFA but didn't get to IPMA, CMR, PSMC due to lack of time) I noticed that the incidence of the "wrong drive mode bug on start up" is higher in my car.

There were a few posts on this forum discussing this version of "Drive mode not available" where on startup the brake pedal will feel stiff. When you power on, the IPC boot up screen flashes Blue (Engaged) for a moment then switches to your actual drive mode color. This leaves the driver cluster in your drive mode but the APIM often in the Engaged mode. I used to get it sporadically (1 to 2 times a month). Post update it's now happened daily (and yesterday a few times).

So I traded new icons for new issues...

Please, please, please tell me this fixes the off-center speedometer :D.

I'm curious how long it takes for you.

A message popped up saying it would take a minimum of 22 minutes to install but definitely did not. Then the typical ten minutes of car off. So I will let you know.

Thanks, curious if you are able to post a pic of the IPC after the update (with driver assist features off).

Oh, I wonder if your IPC update was the 6.8 update. And your latest APIM is probably 6.14 update with the new buttons

I don’t know, but it is taking freaking forever to download. And I thought it would take this long, I would not have started tonight. I am exhausted and leave on a road trip in the morning lol. You have no idea how tempted I am to cancel the download.
