Today my Mach e alarm goes off. I see in the app that the car is disturbed. I go look at the car. I don’t see anything. Later I’m swimming with my daughter and I hear an alarm. I check the app and I see there have been two more alarms. I check the car and I don’t see anything. I open the front driver door, nothing. Rear driver door, trunk, rear passenger door, nothing. I open the front passenger door and I see a moth the size of a silver dollar fluttering around and I let it out.
Obviously the Mach e has a moth detector.
This is a really sensitive system. The thing I don’t understand is why I did not get a notification on my phone. In the past I had a dash can that was stuck to the windshield and fell off triggering an alarm which sent me an alert on my phone. None of the three moth detections sent me an alert but it was reported in the app.

Push notifications for FordPass stopped working for me when iOS 16 came out.
