This vehicle does not meet Bluecruise requirements... (Mach-E 2023)

Hi,
I have a 2023 Mach-E that is currently being updated at an official Ford dealership with FDRS. After insisting for a year that I still don't have BC, they are finally updating the car's software. However, they told me they're encountering this error and cannot activate BC. They mentioned that they've performed several necessary updates beforehand, but when they try to activate BC, they receive this response:

Ford Co-Pilot360 active driving assistance preparation kit (Blue Cruise preparation kit) Activation:

• Process interrupted
• This vehicle does not meet blue cruise requirements...
• Blue Cruise will not activate on this vehicle.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Did you get one without the tech package? CoPilot / BlueCruise? What does your window sticker say? Look for BlueCruise and 360 camera. Spain was one of 17 countries to get BC on July 30, 2024.

Two possibilities - one, the Ford back end sees your in Spain and incorrectly thinks you’re not eligible. The dealer will need to work with Ford on this one.

Two, you got a car without the CoPilot360 tech package, which is needed for BlueCruise. See if your window sticker mentions CoPilot or BlueCruise. It may not have the hardware required (it cannot be added afterwards).

It feels like the second situation.

Does your vehicle include a driver monitor camera? If yes, they should be able to activate BlueCruise Hands Free functionality. If not, then your vehicle isn't compatible.

The DMC is this big "camera bar" that I've circled in red here. It watches your eye gaze using some infrared lights and a camera to ensure you're eyes are looking forward while hands free mode is active.

It must be something else, some update or some problem with sensors or cameras, I guess. ?

Tell your service advisor you want a Ford Field Service Engineer involved.

The Ford dealer did not want to contact the Ford Field Service Engineer, and called me back saying they can't do any more.
I am going to try to escalate this to Ford Spain

You can't. Someone with FDRS access can see which modules have updates available.

I know under FDRS there is a "Bluecruise prep kit" procedure that might help. I've never tried to run it because I have Bluecruise

exactly that is what they tried to activate and the process was interrupted, attached image (sorry it is in Spanish) and add translation:

@Juanle, can you post a photo of the settings > General > About SYNC screen? Include the entire screen so we can see the top bar icons. You can redact the personal identifiers such as serial number, MAC address.

This might be helpful someone here give some more suggestions. I'm wondering, for example, if the Connected Vehicle icon is shown in the status bar.
