I have 40,000 miles on my 2021 Mach E. All of a sudden I get a TPM fault on my left rear tire. After a while the fault disappears. Then the fault will re-appear. I believe TPMs are supposed to be good for about 100,000 miles or 7-8 years. The tire is good running at 40 psi. Any thoughts?

The TPMS is good until the battery is empty, Miles doesn't matter just time.
Lifetime is 5-10 Years you are at 5 years now.

This is happening to me with my 2024 eAWD. It’s staying on now. Going to contact the dealership for that and a couple other issues along with the recalls.

Mine is pulling this low tire thing constantly now. Even though that tire isn’t low

I'm actually having this same issue in my Focus RS right now, which is 10 years old so right on the money as to when the battery will likely die.

I've discovered Ford/some tire shops want astronomical amounts for a TPMS sensor, but the ones on Amazon that cost ~$50 for all 4 work just as well.

While I can't speak to the MachE specifically, these work great on my Focus RS: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H1MWLK7Z

If you want to try these out, before the tire shop installs them, have them verify they report to their TPMS tool of choice correctly.

Many TPMS sensors stay "asleep" until they sense pressure (installed in an inflated wheel) so they might not pair with the MachE until they are under pressure.

I'd suggest having the tire shop insert and inflate one tire, then try to pair it with your car. If they can't do it, return the sensors and pay the crazy amount they want for OEM ones.

It was doing it until I put it back up to 35. It used to be able to go to 27'ish before flagging low. But after running up to 35 and driving I was able to drop it back down to 32 without issue.

I run my tires at 39(recommended psi). I believe my tires last longer that way. Why don't you use the recommended psi?

because 39 psi on 265 wide tires is far beyond what is needed for the load rating, and it rides like a brick by letting you feel every single pebble in the road.

I noticed that my 26 model rides better than my 23 model did. Apparently they tweaked the suspension.
