I've given up trying to fix this TPMS fault. It's always the left rear tire. Took car to dealer and they replaced the sensor but the fault came back following day. Any way to silence annoying the alert?

It’s probably the receiver. You’d think a dealer could troubleshoot that.

That is a very fixable problem that dealer should take care of.

I have the same left rear tire TPMS fault. It's been going on a couple months now.

At first it was intermittent then became constant. Like you, I had the tire sensor changed out and that didn't fix it.

Suppose it's time to schedule a warranty service appointment.

I just had my right rear sensor replaced and reprogrammed (under warranty). I hope it stays fixed. Clearly some issues with these.

My rear left just failed. I figured it was the sensor in the tire but I won't bother replacing that after reading this thread.

Any idea what hardware needs replaced on the car side to fix this? I'm out of warranty so not about to pay the dealer hundreds of dollars.

No clue sorry. Even dealer didn't know. Good news is it will work sometimes bad news you will get annoying alerts when it fails

If you took the car in for this issue before the warranty expired and it wasn’t resolved, it should still be covered under warranty. The problem doesn’t appear to be the tpms wheel sensor, unless they put the wrong one in any way.
