It alerts you (very profusely) as soon as you start moving if the frunk isn’t fully latched. It will also say frunk ajar when you start the car. It is more than sufficient in my opinion.
yeah one of the many safety features/noises that people complain about and want to be able to turn them off or delete them.

Well the salesman did make a point to show how you can fill the frunk with ice for cold drinks. No wonder the “Drunk” was open ?

My car gave this warning just once, upon startup, around the time my job-1 frunk first gained remote functions after OtA updates. It was purely a digital ghost; the frunk did nothing untoward or intoxicated... and nothing like it since.

Some of the posted comments seem mean. Please folks.

It would be good to know what happened, and under what circumstances. Hopefully we'll find out soon. Unless, the original poster decided that it's not worth the risk of divisive commentary.

I had something like this happen over over 3 years ago. After several hours of driving the hood popped open off the first latch.

I pulled over, the second latch was holding, closed the hood again and later had the dealer look at it.

They adjusted the stops, the thought was perhaps there was too much tension and so the final latch wasn't fully engaged.

Hasn't happened while driving since then, although recently in a parking lot I was thinking about how lame it is that I still cannot open the frunk via the sync screen, and it popped open (via the electric switch) just to taunt me.
