Ah, yes, you may think so but there’s another sensor which also detects whether you’re carrying anything which you’d normally have to put down to manually open the tailgate/trunk, if so it won’t work. If it detects you’re carrying nothing……….hands-free hokeycokey foot operation works every time WITHOUT FAIL??‍

He’s talking about the part that shows a foot kicking. Your foot isn’t used to set the height.

I had the feature in my c-max and loved it. Really helpful feature and worked flawless. I asked my salesman about the feature and he seemed to imply Ford couldn’t get a sensor needed to enable that feature. That’s hard to believe but I let it go. My ‘23 MME has that graphic you posted too. I sure wish the feature was enabled.
