Thinking of taking our Mach-E a little bit out of the way this summer and researching the feasibility. Two questions:
- I found an RV campground where we can rent a spot that offers a reasonable rate for just using the electricity at the spot and none of the other amenities. They say the spot has both 30 and 50 amp service. My assumption is that the 50 amp plug-in must follow one NEMA standard (nobody would want to pull in with the RV and find they can't plug in) and be compatible with the Ford mobile charger that came with the Mach-E. Is that a safe assumption?
- There is a hotel along the way with what appears to be a 9kW Tesla destination charger, which could be handy. However, I believe that the complimentary Tesla adapter that Ford sent me a couple of years ago only works with Superchargers and not destination chargers--that to use the destination charger I'd need a separate adapter. Is that correct?
