Two tone steering wheel with the light gray interior?

Hi all.

I did see an earlier thread on this by @Jimrpa , and after some discussion we decided to open a new thread.

A long time ago (in a galaxy not far away), there was confusion on the light gray interior having a steering wheel that was both light and dark gray/black.

My mustang Mach E was ordered with the light gray interior, and on the 2022 renderings, I am seeing this two toned steering wheel as seen in the photos attached.

However. From videos and other posts, it seems that nobody actually gets the two tone wheel? Has anyone gotten it? Anyone have any insights? Maybe they did add it to 2022 models? Not sure. Looking for hopefully some insight and to see if others with 2022 orders see this too.

You’ll have as much luck finding that two-tone wheel as I did finding all of those mini marshmallows that were supposed to be floating in my Nestle hot chocolate when I was a kid. It doesn’t exist.

You both made me laugh, and sad at the same time. The ONLY thing I can think of is maybe it changes with 2022. Yet. I highly doubt it.

I was thinking it was part of the ice white appearance package. But it may be a change for all grey interiors for 2022. Will have to wait until they start getting delivered. Mine is scheduled to be built this week (1/10).

Note that his solution is sub-optimal as his interior is no longer vegan ?
