Unexpectedly long charge duration

My MME is set up to charge between 12:00A and 10:00A and to stop at 90% on a 40A L2 home EVSE.

Yesterday, I drove about 75 miles and plugged in around 8:00P and I heard the fans kick on around midnight as expected.

This morning, at 6:30A I was surprised to hear the fans still running and the charge didn’t finish until 7:15A with the FordPass app showing it took 68kWh!

That seems like far more power than needed, doesn’t it?

That energy reading is not accurate. Sometimes it will show correctly, but 80% of the time for me, it either shows nothing at all, or some crazy high number.

Your EVSE may have limited charge speed if it got too hot.

This is my charge from last night. My ChargePoint shows it delivered 65kw on the session.

I find my MachE starts another charge cycle in the morning when I get close enough to wake it up (still with my charge time window). I do not have scheduled departure on.
