Would you pay to reserve your favorite pump at the gas station for your ICE vehicle? NO

Why would you do it for your EV?

The answer is NO.
First come, first served is the answer.

If anyone thinks paying to reserve a spot is a good idea, you need to check your head.
This will only lead to slower infrastructure roll-out, and gatekeeping to an already undersized EV charging network.

"Ideas" like this will only hinder the growth of EVs and large charging network infrastructure.

Personally I would love this option especially on 3 day weekends etc. $3-5
