Forgive me if this was talked about already, but is anyone else in the wild experiencing the following issue?

For the last week when I start my vehicle the AC is turned off even though it was turned on and running prior to turning off the car. It’s always remembered that if I had the AC running let’s say on speed 3 and turned the vehicle off, then the next time I turned it on it would remember this and AC would be back on at speed 3. I hope I’m explaining this correctly.

My mach e recently updated to 6.8 and latest update I received yesteday is “Priority Update 23-PU0725-CLM-FX”. The issue above is still present.

I have a 2023 Premium RWD STD Batt

@CarGuy11 I do not have it on auto, but prior to some recent update it would stay on whatever I previously had it set to.

Example prior to recent updates:
1) I have AC on, set to recirculate, set to low temperature, and set to 3 fan speed

2) turn off Mach e

3) turn on Mach e

4) AC remembers previous settings and is ON and running at those settings

Example after recent updates:
1) I have AC on, set to recirculate, set to low temperature, and set to 3 fan speed

2) turn off Mach e

3) turn on Mach e

4) AC did NOT remember previous settings and is actually turned OFF

Honestly its best to keep on Auto for efficiency. Just adjust the temp up or down for your liking. I keep in Auto 70deg & lowest fan speed & its great.

@CarGuy11 I hear you. I’ve tried using Auto and it’s not to my liking. Not a fan of the variable fan speed fluctuations. Thanks for your input.

Regardless tho this is kinda off topic. Using Auto is not the solution to a previously working functionality of the way above I described how it used to work. I’m just curious if others are experiencing this issue I described after recent updates as well.

Not sure why, but everytime I get update a/c is always off on next start.

@milepost1 - this issue only happened to me after the 6.8 update and continues to occur everytime I start the car. Basically, AC is OFF after starting the car up. I’m in South Florida so we use AC around the clock!
