Yep. And quite a few Premiums 11/30. While there's FE build dates going into Dec and even Jan (so far). FEs might skew somewhat early, but definitely getting mixed in with a lot of Premiums (and maybe other trims). Pushing some FEs all the way into January (maybe even longer since we still have a ton unscheduled and yet to report).
Yes, but for the most part, the Premiums that are scheduled were early reservations. It appears to me that they are generally scheduling batches by reservation timestamp, regardless of trim. They're not necessarily in order by timestamp within the batch, but the first month of production seems to be mostly pre-orders from November 2019 with only a few exceptions. My reservation was in December, so I'm hoping to make it into the next batch of scheduling whenever that may be.

I think the error that we all made was repeating the "First Editions will be built first" mantra enough times that we thought that info came from Ford. Looking back, they never said that. But because all the First Editions were reserved in November, they mostly end up in the first batch anyway. Of course, this whole Mach Drop fiasco is a whole different story without any solid info indicating scheduling plans for those.

No, you can't do this, but if you could any energy you regenerate is the result of resistance the regenerative braking system is applying to the tow vehicle. Thus you are using the gas motor of the tow vehicle to charge the battery of the Mach E.

However, if you have a really big hand, you can roll the car backwards several times to recharge the car, making it go forward when you set it down and let go. ?
Engineering Explained did a video on this very topic. They were able to charge a remarkable amount of range if a very short time simply by towing their Tesla.

I think regional shipping is also factored in.

I'm a November 17th FE reservation and converted to an order immediately when available.

My build week is Dec. 13th. I think being in Minnesota pushed out my date.

Did you see anything about a sales price cap? Last I heard it was going to be $50k, which puts any Premium AWD over, but in many places like NJ right now the cap is set to $55k.

Folks at the NJ road tour were talking about ordering a Premium AWD ER, but selecting a no cost color option to stay under the $55k.
In 30 years, this is the only time living in NJ has been financially advantageous.

Maybe within a batch, but I don't think region is affecting which batch you get scheduled in. If you have a date, you're already in the first batch of schedules.

That would be true of Ford was using cash basis accounting, but I would assume they are using Accrual based accounting. In this case, it would depend on when the ownership transfers to the dealership. This could be either at point of shipping or upon arrival at the dealership. Note that this is different from Tesla's case since the transaction is not conducted through a dealer; for Tesla, the sale occurs upon transfer to the consumer.
My dealer has been pretty on top of things and was the one who suggested the early paperwork since the VIN exists. Hoping he knows a way to make it happen.

I would hardly call the level of fines that manufacturers could potentially incur 'insignificant'
If I had to pay them personally I would agree, but when you are talking about developing a new vehicle you are in the billions of dollars. The fine would be a rounding error on the third decimal point.

If you look at order tracking, the only ones that gets 11/23 build week are California FE. (There's one OH Premium, but I suspect that's wrong.)

The earliest California non-FE has build week of 11/30.

I understand that you are unhappy about your FE. However, it looks like FEs are indeed prioritized over other trims when other conditions are equal.
It could be someone not on the forum too right
