Wow, someone has an inflated opinion of what his used car is worth. My (as of yet) unused/unbuilt GT-PE is only worth $66K plus tax and licensing. It will probably depreciate 10% before the ink is dry on the sales contract.

I'd probably sell mine for $5,000 over MSRP if anyone wants it hahaha. If someone buys that, surely someone would buy cheaper ones.

Of course it's Phil Long. I had my reservation through them and experienced all sorts of issues trying to convert that to an order. In the past I have bought 2 cars from them, but never again. I'd rather drive a beaten up Yugo than anything from Phil Long. They give Ford a bad reputation and should be banished from ever selling anything - even parts.

It depreciates more than 10% as soon as you title it due to the loss of the $7500 tax credit for the next buyer. Of course, supply and demand could provide some compensatory appreciation to help balance that.

Heh, that’s true about the tax credit. But then again I don’t plan on getting rid of my MME any time soon after it’s delivered. Hopefully even a hard-driven first year GT-PE will have held some value 8-10 years down the line (unlike my Fusion Energi).

Honestly, it's not a bad idea to put mine up for $75000. If someone wanted it that bad, they want it more than I want it, and I can order another one.

It's basically the oversold flight model. If someone wants my seat so bad that they'll pay a superpremium, I'm happy with the airline giving me a fat voucher to take a later flight.

I'm trading my FE in in a couple months on a GT. We'll see what they offer...

This is absolutely crazy. I've been casually looking for a Mach E since Rivian issued a delay and you can still find one for MSRP if you put in the work and travel a bit.

Or you could undercut then for only $74,000 and sell yours first lol

I honestly don't think any MME is depreciating off the lot. I can fairly confidently say anyone that wants to sell their MME could easily get MSRP right now without issues.

One reason I ordered a GT is I'm betting on it to hold it's value even better down the road a few years.
