Vehicle connectivity locked

Anybody has the same situation that this option is locked and inactive? I remember it was able to be turned off before.

yes, I have the same lock out. Im still waiting for Ford to find a fix. Did Chat twice, the second time I stuck with it same thing over and over, but she connected me with ford escalation team, who in turn sent to engineering. That is where I am waiting. I think the modem number on the car does not match ford"S number. Just a guess. The plant made a fix and did not update all?

You may need to cancel all your connected services in the Ford website under your account first such as plug and charge since they require the vehicle to be connected.

dealer did a factory reset and i had to load everything again. He said he would have to investigate. that is when i went back to ford chat and I am where I am. I don't expect any help from the dealer, the are over their heads with this car. Thank you for your post.

Why do you need to turn it off? When you bought the vehicle you signed an agreement to enable FordPass connected services, so you'd have to cancel all your connected service agreements first. The FordPass app will no longer work afterwards. If you're sure, go here and unsubscribe from everything: http://ford.com/connectedservices/

99% of people will want to leave connectivity on so the FordPass app and the tech features of the car still work.

In my case connectivity/wifi never worked, so my case is a little different. I should have stated this at the start, sorry if i misled anyone.
