Vehicle Location, Driving Data (e.g. usage info) pop up message

I get this pop up alert sometimes when I start the car that reads:

Vehicle Location, Driving Data (e.g. usage info) and/or Vehicle Data (e.g. diagnostics) sharing active. See Settings to adjust.


I tried to find this on the forum, on a few search engines and found nothing. I’ve tried to figure out what in the settings menu to change and I’m not exactly clear if it is one or multiple things I should change… so if you know any of these answers below I’d appreciate the assist.

1. Where in settings do I need to go to adjust?

2. Should I adjust?

3. Is there a way to acknowledge this once and for all, if I determine I want whatever is gained from sharing this info?

I get that message in almost all my vehicles. I ignore it and it goes away quickly enough. I am guessing it is a regulation of some kind.....???

I get a warning about pay attention to the road in my Honda and not the infotainment system but this one is so ominous and not so descriptive on where exactly to change something in order to stop it, it prompted me to make this post.

like if I disable (not sure what to disable) what do I lose?
