Anybody upvote or suggest any charging station locations on the map?

(more anywhere is good, but self interest is real!)

I told them that more DCFC is needed in east and northern Washington first. You literally cannot travel in those areas in the winter, safely, unless you have at least 220+ miles of range due to elevation gain and colder temps. In practice, you might only get 100-110 miles in very cold weather at highway speeds. Itā€™s okay in warmer temps, but Iā€™ll take my ICE car in the winter through those areas.

I listed 195 going south from Spokane as my preferred spot. It would open up a meaningful corridor to Pullman, Moscow, Lewiston, and Walla Walla if youā€™re departing Spokane in an EV. When I drive to Spokane now, I go up one way, and back another (through Ritzville to charge.)

Why have priorities? Just slam them every 100 miles or closer on every major route.

I think the DOT should prioritize areas that are least likely to be served by commercial options, especially if they enable travel to remote destinations (state parks and the like).

They're prioritizing because everything doesn't happen at once.

The distance is going to be every 50 miles or less between stations.
