The IPC is so underutilized that I've stopped caring much about the change to the speedo location. Yes, it's hard to understand the decision, and it's disappointing for those of us who enjoyed the centered speedometer and animated drive mode graphics.

But as evidenced by other manufacturers, there's so much more information and content that they could put in the IPC and I highly doubt we'll ever see it in our cars, especially with how slow and incapable Ford seems to be with software. It feels like we're arguing about which style abacus we should use in class, while the next classroom is designing with iPads.

Today Ford Motor Company announced a response to customer outrage at moving the speedometer to the right side of the instrument panel on Mach-Es. "We heard them loud and clear" said Jim Farley, CEO. "We understand that some of our owners are very particular (he sighed at this point), and we want to be responsive to their needs (he muttered "whining" under his breath). Therefore, I am happy to announce, that with every free charging adapter that we are shipping this spring*, we'll be including a 3 inch roll of painter's tape as well as a 3 color set of Sharpie markers. "They can put the speedometer wherever they want, and for that matter write down any speed they want also. You want red, you got red. You want black, you got black. You want blue, you got blue. You want green, sorry, no green."

*spring is not defined as the season spring, but is a Ford used term to mean a non-specific period of time that will be defined months or years after it actually takes place

I would love to see the power regen on the screen it does not need to be huge display just a little green and red bar would be fine.

I read that but I rather Ford do it, I don't want to mess with something and have them come back and say something is not working cause what you did. Like now the paak is not working and I don't know why, after reinstalling everything it's still not working.

Please don’t hold your breath. Ford will not do that even though your car has the software installed. All that FORscan does is make it visible. ??

I hope Ford will geek out and give us more data to see how the car is running and with nore data we can learn to drive better.

Maybe my eyes were deceiving me, but a few of the reviews I've seen of the 2024 model year vehicles have the updated icons in the center screen and I saw the old style of driver panel graphics behind the wheel. I suspect we're getting the option again in a future update?

This was from RedlineReviews. Looks like the old setup. But his big center screen had the updated icons for settings, information, etc. So not sure what's going on.
