Weird home charging experience

The other ought we plugged in to our charger as usual. A few minutes later, there was a fault and the LED lights started blinking red and there was a service engine soon warning in the dash. I plugged and and unplugged multiple times and even unplugged the home charger. I finally gave up and half an hour later tried again and it worked and has worked since. Anybody have any ideas?

Unplug, walk away for 15 minute. Come back, try again. If it works, and doesn't happen again, you're all set.

Yes. I had exactly the same issue. I took it to the dealership, and they said Ford engineers are aware of the Charging Fault, and they should have a fix by July 2023. They told me to do exactly as you did. Unplug, let it sit for 30 mins, and plug back in. Charging is restored and SVS message is no longer displayed.

We had a power surge a couple of weeks ago. My charger light was flashing red the next day. I turned off the circuit breaker and when I needed to charge, I turned it back on. It has been working fine since.
