My suggestion is find the nearest Tesla supercharger and spend the $199 on their adapter. Join the Tesla membership at $12.99 a month. You can charge from 10% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes for about $15. Stop trying to be cheap. You just bought a $40-60,000 investment. If $199 is expensive then you should have bought a bolt or a used Yugo.

That outlet is a 14-30 (30 A). Your charger has a 15-40 and is a 32A charger. You can find an adapter but you will blow the circuit breaker (hopefully that vs roasting the wires or outlet first).

What you need is a portable charger that can be run at 24A — the maximum you can safely operate on that circuit.

I just got a Vevor to replace my aging Ford unit.... pretty great value and you CAN dial down the max current. In your case you will need an adapter as well.
