Given that we're so desperate for things to talk about that we're even posting about restaurant closings due to COVID-19, I figured I'd throw this out there.

Here is a rendering by InsideEVs of what a Mach-E might look like as a "true" Mustang coupe.
Mach-E Coupe

Ford Mustang Mach-E What if: Mach-E as a Coupe Mach-E 2 Door Coupe

I personally like the idea of an electric Mustang coupe but don't think that this rendering is convincing.

Ford will electrify the regular Mustang at some point, probably starting with a hybrid (add an electric motor to the front?).

A coupe version of the Mach-E doesn't work or me. Need 4 doors for the kids and really like having the convenience and trunk space of a CUV.

will be interesting to see dropped and modded mach-e GT's next year. but yeah, ultimately a 2 door coupe will almost always look way sexier and sportier than a 4 door suv.

Is it just me, but based on that pix I prefer the upcoming Mach-E styling.

I would prefer to see a small convertible electric with the same range.

Hate to say it, but station wagons, minivans and sedans are dead. I'm not too sure that the traditional coupes will survive either and crossover/SUV's are creaping in on that space. Most sports cars have little by way of back seats anyhow. So, Crossovers, 2 seat sports cars/roadsters and pickups here in the US will probably be the landscape going forward. Some exceptions as always.

the winner for the oldest zombie thread revival so far award goes to... ?
Not sure why this came up in my suggested thread, but more true now. I just spied Aston Martin's new DBX. When I see Aston in the SUV/CUV market, all bets are off.
