Given the recent Shelby news, I thought this was a relevant thing to ask... I've actually been wondering for a while: what is RTR doing? I know that the Shelby Mach-E from yesterday's reveal is a little disappointing, given that it's pretty much only cosmetics, but I always thought even crazier is what RTR is offering.

These are the people that built the Mustang Mach-E 1400. They were on the scene from the very beginning, working with Ford, and they actually built this crazy beast with 1400 hp. And yet, this is the only thing they currently offer for the Mach-E:
https://www.rtrvehicles.com/pages/mustang-mach-e-rtr

For $5,400 they're literally selling you a bunch of stickers, floor mats and a set of wheels - that's it. They seem to be mostly proud of the variety of stickers you're getting with this package.

Also note that for the ICE Mustang they are selling real performance modifications. So I'm not even complaining much about the price of the Mach-E package or anything, I'm just a little surprised that they don't have any proper thing to sell. Again, they built this crazy performance enhanced Mach-E that Ford used for promotional purposes back when the Mach-E was first released and also, they are in the business of selling you this kind of stuff. So, does anyone know, did they ever say they're not interested in releasing things for the Mach-E or what are they waiting for?

"and Performance Lug Nut Kit"
I mean. What more could you actually want? 5% decrease in jail bars? ?

Well I counted that as being part of the wheels, that's why I didn't list it. ;)

I have to admit though, I actually really like those wheels! It's the same wheels though they've been offering for the regular Mustang though. So really, they haven't put any effort into the Mach-E yet.

This car really has some suspension and power handcuffs. It’s going to be hard for years. I’m assuming no one is jumping in it as they figure it’s a transition car. 5 years after release an entirely new design with more handcuffs probably.

Yeah, not much to get excited about, but that really isn't that bad a price for what it is. That wheel and tire package is probably $3500 - $4000 by itself.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say in my original post. The price doesn't really bother me.

But, actually, I just looked it up. You should be able to get the wheels and tires for ~$2000:

So I guess you are paying $3000 for stickers and floor mats with this package. :D I hope my math is right...

I'm honestly surprised nobody has made a new front or rear fascia yet, seems like that was always the bare minimum, now it's sticker packs apparently

According to RTR's site, about the MME wheels: "1139 People looked at this product today"
I say BS. That said calling that wheel Aero is also BS.
Well I give up on RTR. It's clear that some form of Shopify/Wix/turnkey website is plastering stuff on there as you need to be 21+ to buy the lug nuts.. I'm far to childish to act 21 and over to buy those. Maybe someone that's going in can pick me up a 20 pack?

I just saw that they reduced the price from $5400 to $4200. That's quite the change! So I guess it was genuinely overpriced
