When will BlueCruise be released?

Hi,
Any idea when the blue cruise will be released?
Asking because I bought my Mach-e Premium with the package to be prepared for Blue Cruise ( That I paid more for that package). Since February 2021 I have been waiting for the BC to be released but Ford just continues postponing the date. I talk with my lawyer and he is involved and is thinking on a way to make the company to refund what I pay for the Blue Cruise package.

You didn't pay for it yet. Your dealer will attempt to add it with an update, or you can wait some more for the OTA update.

I paid extra when bought the car for the equipment that is needed to use BlueCruise if it is realesed. Is a extra charge in the sales invoice.

Right, a prep kit, which allowed you to get the 360 degree camera.

Go to your dealer and get them to do 21G01, or wait.

My lawyer think that there is a great chance that Ford ended refunding the extra charge for the BC prep package. The thing is that they promised to have BC in our cars, that’s why we pay extra for the package. The 2022 models already have BC running and the 2021 models in special the Job 1 are left in the dark.

My lawyer think that there is a great chance that Ford ended refunding the extra charge for the BC prep package. The thing is that they promised to have BC in our cars, that’s why we pay extra for the package. The 2022 models already have BC running and the 2021 models in special the Job 1 are left in the dark.

And Ford has honored that agreement. You can go to your dealer and have BlueCruise installed RIGHT NOW for no additional charge!! Case closed.

Thanks for your reply. Please tell me were is located you dealer. Here in Arizona I went to a different dealer every week and they told me that the update is not available yet for my car.

Reference Optional Product Improvement Program 21G01. Attached is the instruction sheet for the process.

Maybe you should show it to your lawyer.

Ask for 21G01 at your dealership!! They will install it for free. Additionally, Ford was originally going to charge us $600 to get Blue Cruise for 3 years. Now they're giving a year free since it was delayed a year

Wouldn’t it be easier to have a conversation with your dealer and just get BlueCruise installed instead? Plenty of Job 1 cars now have BlueCruise, so your assertion that it’s not available is simply false. Granted, some dealers have had some challenges with the install, but it doesn’t sound like you haven’t even tried. Good luck with your lawsuit.
