Some of us with loud Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes etc. just enjoy the sound and feel of our cars. I’ve been tracking my various models at drag strips and road courses since the mid ‘90s. Not only that, I’m going to be adding a Shelby GT350 in the near future next to my wife’s upcoming Space White Mach E 4X. To think, all these years of being a gearhead and wannabe racer and it was all because of some “inadequacies”. ?
It wasn't the car or being a gear head. The car is great. By "inadequacies", I was referring to the way he acted. Something to prove.

I've seen about a dozen since the Mach E was released, but had my first chance to actually talk to another owner in person last week. Saw a guy sitting in his IB at the Berkeley Whole Foods and walked up to his window and asked how he liked it. Then I pointed behind him to my Route 1 and he got out and we chatted for a few minutes.

Also saw one parked on the street a few blocks from my house so I'm hoping I have a neighbor in Cow Hollow I'll eventually meet.

I've only seen two in the wild, but the first one was BEFORE I had my MME.

I saw my second one today--Space White. Quick pass, so don't know if the other driver waved. I beeped -- and had nothing in return.

However, I do think the Shadow Black--while awesome looking--runs a bit more under the radar.

OP here and it just happened again this afternoon! Well, sort of the same. I was on a relatively busy street (Hwy 1 in Hermosa Beach for those in California that know it) and another Infinite Blue was passing by in the other direction. But it was quick and my wife that was driving also didn't notice the other MME, so not really a surprise.

But the MME that passed me as per my initial post? No way he didn't see me.

PS How many months before there are so many MMEs that the novelty of seeing another one won't be a thing anymore?

The only Mach-e I’ve ever seen is my own. I’ve not even seen the dealers FCTP.

There is only infinite blue.

There’s a neighborhood name I haven’t heard in years. Moving away from the Bay Area almost more than 15 years ago will do that. ;)

I think it will take a while. Tesla drivers still wave to one another and there are many of those around. Would love to share experiences with a MME driver in the wild but so far haven't had the opportunity. Right now I'm still enjoying being a novelty with the MME.

Heh, One of the tech companies I used to work for was on Gough St for a couple of years in Cow Hollow. Moved down to Pacific Ave after that then into Menlo Park.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all see each other in Ford NAV (think WAZE). Send a honk-wave to a fellow MMe in your area. Now for those of us who want privacy, it could be a feature you elect to turn on or off, right?

I had a silver MME pass me on the left in Denver, I rolled down my window and tried to give them a thumbs up as they went past but I was a little slow and I think they probably thought I was flipping them off. :(

If you drive a silver MME in Denver and think you were flipped off by a fatso driving a black VW Toureg on Sunday, July 11th, my apologies.
Sure, sure, it was like this:
