Who is AL?

So there is a guy here (picture below) named Brian, who keeps typing "Brian, not AL", in all his posts. I try to stay up with the latest trends (what the hell is a Labubu?), but I don't get this "not AL" thing.

So, I asked an internet savvy generation P (I can't keep them straight) person about it, and they said "you old fogey, it's not "AL", it's "AI". Here I thought it was just a different font than I used and he was typing "AL" all the time. So I asked this kid why Brian would keep saying he's not AI, since of course we know that Skynet is AI. Skynet is very dangerous, so we all need to take to the concrete spillways and run.

Then I was told that AI will actually help us, by posting inaccurate information all across the internet, thereby allowing us to not have to post it, which saves time. Wow, that's great, a timesaver from computers. Who would have thought computers could help us like that?

Playing catch up after being out for the holidays and this gave me quite the laugh. Truth of the matter is, when we pivoted how we show up in the forums and I took control of the passwords, there was skepticism if I was real or not. Maybe the joke has gone too far? Maybe it's time for "Brian, Not AI" to become just... Brian.
