I'm not requesting it. Turn off 30 minute timer, leave car running, lock door with 7/8 9/0 on external keypad. #ThisIsNotHard
It turns that timer off everytime you restart the car. Does it work. Yeah. Just not a glamours fix.

Also the only other one with a pet mode is rivian. I don't know why no other ev companies are holding off on it.

Glad you have inside knowledge of the resources available at ford. #staytoxic
It does not matter how many resources Ford has for Mach-e software; they’re misused when adding new features to a car with so many day 1 bugs still in existence. People should consider whether features essential to them are available in the car prior to purchase or lease.

lol mmmkay the biggest component of pet mode is to put on the giant screen that the car is in a pet mode. So

do gooders don’t smash your windows and call the S.W.A.T team while you’re running an errand. #ThisIsNotHard
The Sketch app, it’s not hard

So you’re 100% the sketch app will stay primary on the display screen? The car won’t go into a screen saver mode? Or you just being pedantic (and Following the class bully) as well as trying to keep requested features out of Mach e to keep it less competitive as the market passes it by?

Yeah it stays on the screen. Also I hate to break it to you and I’m really flattered but I guarantee Ford doesn’t look at my comments for future feature updates.

Let’s keep the jokes coming guys so productive!
It's a feature a small segment of the owner base wants. The rest of us would rather have problems fixed and our cars brought to feature parity.

I don't own a pet, but I fully support having a pet mode.

I've said this before and will say it again: Just because I don't use a particular feature shouldn't deny others features.

More importantly, this zero-sum assumption of software development as either new features or bug fixing is unhelpful and misguided. If the available resources were so limited and roadmap planning was decided between that binary choice, then nothing would get fixed and no new features would be added. Resource allocation needs headroom, and feature development along side issue fixing allows for that headroom.

Of course in a perfect business world there are plenty of resources for both bug fixes and new feature development. We haven't been in anything close to a perfect business world for about three years.

That’s a great generalization about what the market wants. I’m sure you’re 1000% correct and have the authority to make that decision for all the owners.
