Will ceramic coating help with bugs on the front "grill"?

This is our first vehicle where the bugs we murder as we travel are quite noticeable (due to the Mach E's front design).

If we have a ceramic coating applied professionally, will we get less bugs and/or will the bugs come off easily?
My car wash offers a ceramic and carbonite coating with their highest tier subscription. That's what I use and it's been pretty effective so far.

I use the Turtle Wax Hybrid ceramic based on recommendations in this forum. It obviously isn't as good as a professional ceramic coating, but I've been very happy with it. Two coats and most bugs come off with spray from the hose or even normal rain. It easily lasts a year. It is not the easiest to apply - it has a tackiness to it that makes it a little hard to buff, but it is not terrible.
Hello OH
I have this coming today.

Is it similar to what you use? How do you apply yours, with a microfiber cloth?

I had my car professionally ceramic coated 4 years ago. No regrets on that, the paint looks factory new. As for bugs, a quick rinse with the wide nozzle on the pressure washer gets the vast majority of them. I do use Griot’s products as a topper though.
Good to hear it working well after all the years.

I had a place quote me $1200 for paint correction and $800 for the ceramic coating. Curious, did yours also charge for both?

No and yes. They did not break down the cost into paint correction and the coating, but it was very obvious the paint correction was built in to the quote. I did not go with the cheapest place in town, I went with one that had a good reputation and was recommended by people I know. They did a fairly mild pant correction (mostly for the water spots from the 14 week journey to get to Hilo) then did the CeramicPro Silver Plus package (3 coats).

Thanks for the heads up. Do you think my price is reasonable? I'm in the Los Angeles area and figure things are more expensive.

On LI, I paid $1.9k for a one step paint correction and Opticoat Pro+ 7 year ceramic. Going by price alone, it sounds comparable for a metro area with HCO.

I got a couple of other quotes for comparison and looked at reviews too so it may also make sense for you to compare in your area.

I live in Hawaii; almost every mainland price sounds good to me. Ask on the regional forums.
