I just took delivery of my Premium here in Atlanta and noticed scratches on outside of my left passenger window. At first I thought it was the tinted or smudges but it is actual scratches in the glass. Not from window going up and down as they aren’t uniform and they aren’t vertical.
I had the same on my awd on delivery. Same window as well. They were so faint I actually did not see them on my walkaround inspection, the dealer pointed them out to me and showed me the paperwork ordering a new left pax window. In my case, I still can't see them unless I'm looking at just the right angle and the right sunlight.
Unfortunately I can feel mine when I run fingers over. Literally groves. I wondered whether it happened when they removed the window sticker? I’ll update when I finally get Jim Ellis dealership to respond.
I did and the dealership replaced the glass. Of course, they had my car for 4 weeks while I awaited a new power steering module to be procured.
I had the exact same thing just happen to me. I took the vehicle home Tuesday night so I could not see them on the walkthrough, but noticed it the following morning. I was told they need to order a new window. Annoying and definitely noticeable up close, but they are relatively minor.
My car was at the dealership for 3 1/2 weeks awaiting a new power steering module so I don’t know exactly when the window showed up but I do remember the service guy sang at the window was in so maybe a week or week and a half??
One of the morons at the dealership decided to take the window sticker off with what looks to be a razor blade and clearly scraped the window. It's barely noticeable unless you're right up close, but they ordered my glass today. Hopefully its gets here within a week or two.
