Window switch peeling?

Hi all, curious to see if anyone else is having this issue. My passenger front door window switch is peeling up. Exposing the raw plastic below. So strange. I only clean my interior with water and Dawn dish soap mixture. Very diluted.
It’s a 21 Mach E 4 only 9500 miles on it.

Looks like a defect in the vacuum metalizing process (probably contaminated). I would bring this up with my dealer. ??

Yea I’ll bring it up in my next visit to the dealership.
And good question, I don’t. I’m the only person who is in the car 99% of the time.

The paint peeled off my Cancel/Resume button. The dealer replaced it under warranty.

This issue was/is happening on Explorers also. Not just MME.

At least you still have the 'trim'. after the first month or so, my plastic trip piece popped right off when I pulled up on it to close the window (Passenger side).

The dealer replaced the switch under warranty, with the wrong switch. So the next month when I had to go back for yet another issue, they replace it again with the proper switch.

Could be, however, the person who installed it should have known as it (the first one) would stick when you used it (up or down) so there was never a 'tap' to close or a 'tug' to open feature.

When you gave it a quick tug, it would stick so the window would roll all the way up instead of the little bit you wanted. And vice~versa on the way down.

I have two switches on the drivers door that are also doing it. I got a small paper cut from it when I slid my finger across the switch

(was not expecting it).

I am taking it to the dealer.
